Just make sure you set the turbo up correctly, if the tyre is too tight against the roller then it will wear quickly, but if it's set up correctly it will be fine IMO.
The roller is spring loaded on mine so I don't think I can adjust it

I've never used turbos that much as I hate them with a passion TBH, but I've never had a tyre issues when I have.

My mate used to use one a lot, never ever used a turbo specific tyre, and never had an issue with premature wear either. I'm not sure exactly what turbo he was using, but it was only a basic Minoura one, so I can't imagine it was hugely adjustable either.

You'll be fine. Turbo tyres are OK if you can afford to have one on it's own wheel, but the cost of that along with another cassette makes it uneconomical for many.

Nice looking bike
If it was me i'd go black bar tape and saddle.......white is way too fast for me ^_^
I'm a Charge Spoon Fan.....have a look at the Charge Plug 3 thread here for some nice close up pics.

PS Don't throw them Vittoria Tyres out....you're going to need them by March if your Lugano's last as long as mine did....less than 1500 miles and they were shot......mind you i am a fat lad

Enjoy

Nice !
I had a look at that model in the shop the other day , looked very clean and i liked the fact it had rack mount bolts by the rear brake caliper although that fact it has a metal fork was a bit of a let down as i was hoping they would have kept the carbon fork ..........
Strike that just had a google and the spesh allez + trek 1.1 are £50 more expensive and have similar forks .
If you do not like the saddle just go onto ebay as people are always selling boardman saddles, i happen to like them and even bought one for my virtuoso.
I bought the road comp about 18 months ago on C2W and i get a lot of good comments about the bike ranging from "is it carbon?" because of the smooth welds and "boardmans have a good frame ".
Like other suggested change the white tape when it gets dirty and i couldnt get it clean again .
I think your 1st upgrade should be mudgaurds, something like cruds so you can get out without getting wet ass this time of year , if its not icey there is no reason not to get out there.
Then look at clipless pedals and shoes as they make a lot of difference , again ebay is your friend as you can pick up good second hand shoes + pedals cheap .I prefer to use "MTB" spd rather than road style as i have a fair walk at work from the bike sheds so it easier to walk in the shoes and i only want to run 1 sort of cleat across my bikes. With shoes aldi + lidl have them in a couple of times a year and are serviceable enough .
Most importantly just ride and enjoy it !!!!

Picked her up yesterday  won't be able to ride her until January. Just need some new accessories and pedals for it and we'll be ready to go

I will be putting shwalbe Luganos with the red stripes on do you think it will be to much if I go for red bar tape and maybe a black seat? As I don't like white

Are you an interior designer?

I have "MTB" cleats on my virtuoso as I like to be able to walk with them on to  just need to buy some compatible pedals can't mess with it yet as technically it's a Christmas present  and I went towards this bike as my brother works their and gets 25% discount at this time of year

I had a red Battaglin years ago and fitted a white saddle with red trim, that looked good. I also had red tyres but it was too "red" and I ended up with green and black tyres and it looked better. Black bar tape suits any colour bike!
