Well, picked it up this morning and only rode the mile or so to work....very different position than my sirius and feels much more twitchy....I think that will go when I get a few more miles under my belt.
Very retro looking, steel guards or honjos would have been too bling considering it is my commuter.
I didnt think of the colour as city blue and will never do so as they are the evil enemy!

Being picky I would have the cabling in brown and spend more money on getting crome rails on the brooks but I hardly notice that.
Again many thanks to keepedalling for the bike and the patience with my lack of ability to stick to a decision!

Thanks Monkspeed for the pic...I didnt have enough time to do it properly
Soon to be seen in and around Manchester!

Well, first commute in today and it was a toughie.
My own fault really I didnt make sure the saddle hieght was 100% with my shoes on so it was a hard slog into the wind with a saddle too low so my thighs were on fire.....now in work and I've sorted it and backed off the tension on the brooks a little to give me a little more movement in the leather for a few weeks then I'll tighen it backup slowly....I KNOW how many turns I done:thumbsup:

Very different riding on drop bars and I can tell a huge differance in the frame, the same roads werent rattling my teeth out!!
That is with the same tyres to the same pressure.
A few little tweeks to the guards to bring them closer to the tyres and jobs a good un, for anyone wondering why I have fairly wide mudguards on, that is in anticipation of summer to accomadate wider tyres for hooning down the canal paths.

Happy as a pig in proverbial:bicycle:
