My new Boardman and Halfords

In my experience, Halfords are OK. My local Halfords, although not brilliant, is actually quite a bit better - friendlier/more helpful/better prices etc., - than my local LBS. For great service, decent prices and good coffee, I travel 22 miles to another LBS.

I bought a mtb from Halford about 20 years ago. It is still going today although rathe heavy.

Same hear bought a mountain bike from halfords, set up well never gave me minuets trouble, the mrs has it now and loves it, but I do think it depends on the store.
