I dont like that they can get stuff taken down so easily when its just footage in a public area.

Do youtube get annoyed with people upping an already removed video, or just keep removing them? Im thinking more if this had been something more serious they were trying to sweep under the carpet.

Yes, they can. YouTube will just remove a video if you make a privacy complaint and follow it through. In our specific situation it's not warranted and is a spurious privacy complaint. That's why it's good to have a different account to re-upload it on, and to get the video back up in the search rankings for the rego and company name.

Ban mobile phones because they are a distraction but what about other distractions like passengers, children, GPS, CDs & radio?.Are you banning them too along with MP3 players and ear phones for cyclists?

Everything you state is a distraction.

Only mobile phones are banned, I.e. against the law. If you wish the others to be, lobby your MP, though somehow I can't see them making it legal to only carry children if they are silent.

Mobile phones are a distraction, and they are banned - you agree with both these points, so I'm not sure there's a need for all the bickering over the fine detail!

WOW!!! You cite Mythbusters as credible research - it is an entertainment programme, you might as well put Del Boy as a replacement for Lord Sugar in The Apprentice.
Years ago it was 'proved' that decaff coffee was better than ordinary coffee and a lot of people switched over and was later 'proved' that it was worse for you.
Stats and research can 'prove' almost anything - if you put ypur head in a freezer and your feet in an oven at gas mark 5, overall you will be at a comfortable temperature\

Drinking and driving? I am in favour of zero tolerence. Ant alcohol in the bloodstream means an automatic lifetime ban - no mitigating circumstances

I work in an Ethanol plant, I am around high concentration ethanol on a regular basis, it is entirely possible that even though I have not consumed any alcohol that I would test positive for it in very low amounts. If there was a zero tolerance , no mitigating circumstances you might as well just lock me up.
There are many chemicals both legal and illegal that effect a persons ability to drive, If we are going to make such sweeping laws the police and the courts are going to be very busy.

On a different note - I don't care if a driver is stopped at the lights or in a jam when they're on their phone. They still present problems for everyone else. One being holding up traffic unnecessarily when it starts to move again. Friday morning I pulled up behind a car at a light, car and van pulled up behind me. Light goes green. Nothing. She's texting away without a care in the world.

I shout "LIGHT'S GREEN!"

Van driver beeps. Nothing.

She finally see's the amber and panic-drives through. Several drivers miss their turn. It makes everything inefficient in traffic. These people dont seem to notice the ambulances either, I notice around the local hospitals..

There never used to be a stigma about drink driving but now there is, so fewer people do it. I hope one day there's a stigma about the use of mobile devices.

A woman once overtook me so closely that I could see that she was looking at Facebook on her iPhone.

If you compare the number of people who admit using a mobile whilst driving with the conviction rates fewer than 4% of offenders get caught, presumably FBS ABC Motorcycle Training chose to whine and snivel to Youtube to get the clip deleted.

I was talking to a pal a few nights ago when he told me that story. I can't believe you both made up identical stats, so I have to say I find the figure as worryingly true as I find it upsetting.

In fact, I was so shocked by the figure of 4% that I dropped the phone!

Normally that wouldn't be a problem, but it bounced and got stuck under the brake pedal. Never much fun at 80....

Not fun at all! And that must have been the hottest coffee I've ever had from Costa. When I swerved because of the jammed pedal, I spilt it all over my legs.

the rather strange reference to sticking your head in an oven
That was referring to how stats van be manipulated and not mobile phone use.
You quote to the link - http://www.informationweek.com/news/212201254 For research to be valid, it must be independant (who commissioned it? We do not know), reasonable sample size (41 is too low) and repeatable - you can repeat and reproduce the phone calls by using a taped message but human interaction?
How many of the 41 pairs were told of the nature of the reasearch? If you were part of the research, how animated would you be if you were the passenger? If you, as passenger, would distract the driver whilst he was on the phone in order to prove your point?

Just did a quick Google for "FBS ABC Motorcycle Training"

The third result is your video, despite the fact that it's now been removed!

Here's what Google has to say in its search listing:
F85ABC (FBS ABC Motorcycle Training) - OTP and doesnt really ...

Wonder how much longer it will show up in Google like that
