As for cheating in a twenty-questions game ... shame on you all! In the old days of the old radio programme (chaired by Kenneth Horne - anyone remember?) the team used to occasionally overhear the 'Mystery Voice' telling the audience - which of course they weren't supposed to. But they always owned up to the fact: they never 'cheated'.
Mind you, the technique I hinted at above isn't strictly speaking 'cheating' but it would have spoilt the game. In case anyone's puzzled, a binary tree search in twenty steps could identify one in 2^20 names - that's 1,048,576. Cyclechat is doing well but it hasn't got that many members - yet!
