Nalini - Size 6 is XXL apparently

Not in my book.

Just bought a Liquigas jersey from Wiggle, usually my Jerseys have been XL but I did read that the Nalini ones were cut tighter so I went with XXL. Arrived today and went to put it on but realised my shoulders and hips were too wide. I'll admit I'm a 14 stone 6 foot 2 man, but I didnt think the Italians were that smaller than us.

I am 5'10, 42" chest, 13.5 stone and size 5 in Nalini fits me perfectly.

Well, wore it into work today and it felt ok. The elastic makes it look quite funny with my belly hanging out. Will see how I get on with it with a few rides, then might order another bigger one.

Anything Italian is at least 2 sizes smaller than standard UK sizes.

I remember the hilarity when I bought my first Castelli jersey.

I thought XXL would be big enough but I looked very similar to
Daffyd, the only Gay in the Village wearing his fetching blue sailor suit.

Lost a bit of gut since then, but still a tight fiit.

I think when people leave reviews for clothing on Wiggle and Chain Reaction they should include their height, build etc. It'll help others out.

When I got Nalini bibs, I went up a size. The smaller size would have been better for the waist I think but I needed the larger size for my height.

if you are buying from prendas (who I can recommend), then you can email them with your measurements and they will size you up
