Hey guys and girls just got back from picking up my new ride (albeit 2nd hand) but really excited about it and wondered if like cars people named their bikes (controversial I know) just curious and thought be a bit of fun . I have decided to call mine Murphy !!!

Hi and welcome!
Yes we do ^_^
Mine, to date, are Mrs. Doubtfire, Gonzales, Boris, Colombo and Maurine.
Show us a picture of Murphy!

My CX is called Eric as he is really short. Eric the half a bike. My roadie is called Blue, on account of him being a blue sort of colour. I'm a bit rubbish with names. My '89 Strat is called 'Red' and the knackered, road worn old Vintage is called 'Boogie'. He's Seafoam Green and Hubster wanted to call him 'Bogie' but we compromised.

Tandem is called Talulah - the new one will be called, obviously, Talulah-too

None of the other bikes have names, although when I get my Brommie it might

My m/cycles have names and so do my bikes - mainly so I have something to yell when something goes wrong / doesn't work [even though it's usually my fault it feels better].
