As some of you may know, I abhor the (allegedly) 'festive season'
BUT.....
A few years ago, we went here in a trio of consecutive Decembers
I'll admit, I enjoyed it, as it was such a mickey-take
I'd suggest that anyone with kids take them
It's only a few hundred yards off the A64/York 'Ring Road', where the Stamford Bridge/Garrowby Hill/Bridlington road leaves

It's at the Farming Museum, & they use the Viking Village, but rename all the huts
National Elf Service, as a cottage hospital
A cinema, showing 'Gnome Alone'
There's a Reindeer flying school
