I so remember the first long ride he mentioned and the very fast descent. Jeez Stu, that machine had some serious downhill speed. Andy over took me like a rocket and promptly disappeared.

I used to quite like the ones where we went to Tourist Tony's for a massive home cooked meal perched in every spare spot in his house. What a nutter!

James was a total legend. Popped out for a pizza in London for him and his girlfriend ended up doing a 100 miler to Malden overnight. He was on his pub bike which was a vintage Mercian, jeans and tee shirt. Also my favourite ever night right.
