Same junction, same time, same "M.O."

Heading up Abbeydale Road http://g.co/maps/3eq5v

Car approaching in right turn lane goes, there is room and time, but second car also begins to go

I was going slightly slower with a laden trailer but for a moment I thought "here we go again" and considered how my shoulder still has a twinge and a click from time to time from the crash in March

The driver did wake up 1/4 way through the turn and stopped, raising a hand in apology, I almost felt bad for the bellowing "Oooiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!" but then soon stopped feeling any remorse

I think I need to avoid that junction - in fact I do when I'm on the trike for that very reason, I figure its a junction that seems to encourage drivers to follow the lead car and turn, so being even lower might be a disadvantage

I have several otherwise valid routes then I no longer ride because experience has taught me that some junctions and the drivers that frequent them are too dangerous

and I hate it when the second or even third driver follows the first, a scooter almost crashed when pulling on on me following a car that shouldn't have pulled out either, scooter looked up, saw me, and had to gun it to get clear and nearly failed to complete his turn

Never feel bad for shouting "Oi!"...I do it all the time (I caught two on video today...actually I shout WHOA!!!...I have it off to perfection) each time they work...as yours seemed to do.

Scary moment for you tho, given the history.
