You should stay indoors Acct
I'm still thinking about it. Ward B24 at Blackburn Royal did say jokingly that they'd keep my bed warm for me and one of the nurses did say "see you soon", as i left last November. You should stay indoors Acct
You could ask why the bus is not stopped against the pavement.
Getting rid of pylons.Yes, that Nikolai Tesla sneaks about causing all sorts of mischief.
Or this bus stop in Ipswich with a cycle lane through the middleTry telling that to the hundreds of cyclists who have to use the infamous Oxford Road cycle lanes in Manchester:

I have a playing card taped to the frame which each spoke catches & makes my bike sound like a Ferrari people are much amused when they think a Ferrari is being driven down the canal pathI have a little device on my bike which makes a ding sound when I activate it.
What sort of Ferrari, and how many spokes in the wheel?
Last night i stopped at a busy roadside to wait for the traffic to pass. I relied on sound as much as sight to decide if it was safe to cross the road. I was about to step out when a heard a familiar to cyclists whirring sound and then felt a slight gush of wind as one bike followed by another fled past me. I've ridden on this road for 40 or so years and know they'd have been doing about 20mph at that point of passing me. This happened about 10 pm, so it was dark. I noticed that both cyclists, as they passed, were fairly well lit up and visible (Good rear lights, but not sure about front lights,as obviously they'd passed me by then),if i'd have looked to my right. My point is that i didn't. I thought the coast was clear,as i couldn't hear any car noise.
I thought about when i'm out riding and pedestrians who to me look like they could step out, with or without seeing me. If i think this is going to happen i shout out "Whooaa",hoping they'll step back. How would you react if you thought you were going to hit a wandering pedestrian and going back to my carelessness, have you ever stepped or nearly stepped into the path of an oncoming cyclist, especially when they've been doing a speed where you and the cyclist could end up with serious injuries?
Oh right,so if i did and everybody else did we wouldn't have any RTA's and other such road incidents? Right,i'll read the code ASAP to ensure i never make a mistake again!Google "green cross code".

Maybe the Highway Code, for the drivers, as well.Well:
You stepped out into the road without looking, and you want a response more searching than "Look where you're bloody well going."?
If you can't see well, and you won't even look , maybe a seeing eye dog would help.![]()
