Nice and simple really...

Chip butties. Should they be on brown/wholemeal baps or white baps?
He was sent out last night for chips and baps and came home with wholemeal yet again!

(oh and baps = bread rolls/barn cakes/muffins/stotties/any other variation on the word bread roll!)

Pitta bread.

Along with some kebab meat and salad.

If the chips don't fit in they can be left on the side...or forgotten about altogether.

Sliced white bread. Oh and red sauce as well. I know @Easytigers will agree with me about that.
 - mayo first and then if that is not available HP or nothing... never ever the red stuff...

I prefer thin sliced white bread (folded of course) with the chips laid horizontally.
agree with the chips being laid out in a certain manner. must have some order...

I've only lived in Yorkshire for a scant 34 years, so hvent yet managed to tune my palate to this northern delicacy. However, given the two or three occasions I have tried them I would definitely say buttered white teacake.

However a.fish butty......now you're talking.

I've only lived in Scotland for 30 years, so haven't grasped yet the meaning of making a meal of bread and potatoes  Where are the vitamins???
