Needs reporting

This is one of the worst pieces of driving I've seen. It's in Manc and he needs removing from the road. The cyclist appears not to want to report it.

It's on a road I used to commute regularly. @fossyant uses it occasionally and a couple of others I know do.

It's a terrible piece of driving; also the M.E.N. reporter is a moron, for not understanding the terrible driving.

However, most terrible driving is not recorded. This particular example was recorded, but by someone who'd prefer to sell it to a newspaper than pursue it with the police. Wrong as that may be, regard it as the same as terrible driving you see when you don't have a camera. Shrug it off. Life is too short.

(I saw a van and a taxi go through a red light on Charing Cross Road on Saturday. It could have easily killed someone, there were pedestrians everywhere. It's bad, but they aren't going to be indicted, just like this Audi driver. Let it go.)

I cannot think of a valid reason for the actions of the Audi driver other than he just doesn't care about anybody else. I'm sorry and I really don't like to say this, but he needs to lose his licence for 5yrs or for good and his car should be crushed if it is an asset of his. That video is irrefutable evidence to back up my judgement and the police/CPS should have no problem seeing it that way if there is any justice in the world.

If it was on a road I use regularly (and therefore, "have an interest")? I'd report my concern.

Aye - but I live less than half a mile from the police station where the Roads Policing Unit is based. Easily done.

He may have had previous dealings with GMP and did not want to waste his time, but thought that a bit of press coverage might get the attention of GMP...

i had a very close call whith a audi A6 ,i had to go into the oncoming lane to avoid him..
