Can't believe some of the comments on the wall. I'm sure some of it is attention seeking kids, but i'm also sure it reflects some geniune vitriol amongst our fellow road users.

Dont engage with them, flag them for trolling. If you own the page delete their crap off it. Its what I do on youtube and if we all practised this on otther websites then they'd have less of a voice.

FB and YT are there to make money – that’s all– they might claim to be “socially responsible” and have “community rules” etc, but I think, at the end of the day, unless they feel they are going to be taken to court/shut down (ie loose a lot of money) they don’t care.



Youtube host hundreds of white supremacist channels where the mass extermination of Jews, communists, homosexuals and non- whites is called for in pretty graphic terms – but if they can make money out of such vile content, then they have no incentive to remove it.



For an example, if you’ve a strong stomach, visit the channel below – it belongs to a lovely chap who calls himself TheTrueWhiteMan (and his name is pretty mild compared to some of his friends) – he has some pretty nice views on black people (his profile calls on them to be shot wherever found), isn’t that keen on Mexicans, and spouts the usual fascist rhetoric calling for the extermination of Jews and Israel. (He also hates Magnatom – check the comment he left on Mag’s channel)

Whilst I agree these channels on the whole dont give a damn if their users actually bombarded the report functions on these sites it would atleast tie them up and make them think twice about allowing s*** like it to be hosted.

I have in the past posted links to some really offensive material on the crime stoppers website. CS being a third party they can atleast highlight these issues if they get enough complaints.

We really need to be the squeeky wheel. Not just as cyclists but as civilised humans.

See I don't understand that, to my mind most people that what Top Gear are just normal folk that appreciate the entertainment and take it as just that. The people that watch it and hate cyclists are already that way inclined.

Besides Hammond is a keen cyclist and the show has shown on more than one occasion, what we all know to be true, that cyclists are the fastest transport around town. In a race across central London, Hammond (on his bike) beat the car (James May), boat (Clarkson) and public transport (Stig).

Yes it's a shame such groups exist, but personally I don't get wound up by it. In fact I find it hilarious. There are many gems of wisdom on there but this is probably my favourit:

"I failed my first driving test because of a cyclist - only 3 minors apart from that. Would have passed were it not for the cyclist taking up the whole road. Almost killed another one today who pulled out in front of me without looking. There better not be any on the roads on friday when I take my test again."
