Try marathon racers from spa cycles

200g lighter than M+ per tyre, very durable (and relatively P******* resistant) and extremely nippy at 700x30mm. I'm on my second set for commuting. I would highly recommend.

I'm happy with my Bontrager Racelite Hardcase in 28mm.

About £14 per tyre from All Terrain Cycles.

Very puncture resitant for a fast commuting/training tyre. Durable too, done about 3k miles on current pair and reckon I could get the same again before needing replacing

I presume you can buy them separately, but I have probably done not far off 2k on the Specialized tyres on my two Sirruses and never had one of those 'occurences' - I ride on rubbish roads and am dreadfully poor at spotting glass and potholes!

I've got Conti Grand Prix 28s on my Ridgeback Velocity and not had a flat yet. Think I got them from Ribble and it worked out about £37ish for the pair.
