That will go up hills much better than a 'sit up and beg 3 speeder'. And a damn sight lighter.
Yes, a truly modern take on a traditional design. I think Kona were the first, but I'll be proved wrong by someone, so let's say one of the first, at least ^_^

Hi Lutinae,

As others have mentioned hopefully either the Kona or the Genesis would servce you well.

But if you've not quite made up your mind and want another optiont to consider then there is the Temple Cycles Step Through Lightweight :-

https://www.templecycles.co.uk/pages/ladies-lightweight-spec

https://www.templecycles.co.uk/blogs/blog/behind-the-design-step-through-lightweight

In terms of the weight of this Temple bike their website states, "10-11kg depending on size and extra's". If this bike is of interest though I'd want to speak to Temple first because as with any other bike at the current time availability is key if you want a bike right now and it would be best to check whether or not it's available within the timescale that you need. This option might be a bit more than you wanted to spend but I'm sure that I've previously read that Temple will work with the cycle scheme vouchers (not sure if it has to be a certain company or scheme so you'd have to research that with both Temple and a cycle scheme voucher company) if indeed this is an option that is avilable to you to help bring down some of the cost with the associated tax saving and speading out payments over monthly instalments.

Or for something slightly cheaper maybe one of the bikes from The Light Blue :-

Regarding the messages about the look of the Kona Coco it reminded me looks wise with the frame of the Islabikes Janis although I've abolutely no idea which company (or another company with this rough design) brought their bike the market first.

Good luck with your search for a new bike.

John
