Having wasted my 3000
th post on the BSO thread I decided to make 3001
st count so a report on his first 3 rides over the weekend.
Sat morning very early I was caught trying to sneak out of the house to go and see the Balloons "can I come too?" - ok, so I decided to not go the full way but just to cycle to the Downs, so we cycled to the Viewing Point:
From the viewing point its clear the balloons are going south so we do too.
View from just above the Clifton Suspension Bridge:
Later in the afternoon we cycle back to the Downs to see the Red Arrows
On the way back we go across the grass given the parked cars on the road and the appalling driving (well mostly stationary jams and shouting matches as to who should back up).
We discovered they had cut the long grass on the downs and baled it up.
Next morning a repeat out to the Viewing Point and then to the Bridge
Loads of Balloons but I liked this one close to the moon.
And home across the grass again - just because he could practise his red arrow circles!!!
So he likes his new bike!! and has done about 26 miles on it so far.
PS. Can anyone tell me why kids have to stand on their bikes!!!!
