seen on the decathalon website the new B'Twin Triban 500 SE coming april this year! can't wait to see more of it, it does look pretty sexy for a Triban! what do you lot think?

i want to know cost, what the frame is materials etc wise and what groupset/components and well yeah everything!
oh and i want to know when they will be delivering mine for testing purposes only!

Looks like an alloy frame and I expect it'll have a carbon fork, perhaps based on the T5.

I have used microshift in the past , easy enough but they have a shift button on the outside where your index finger is and the lever under the brake like shimano , i always think of them as mirror image campag shifters .

It's a heavy bike with terrible wheels but it handles very securely indeed, perfect as an entry-level bike. Decathlon employees also can't believe they can sell it so cheap; I guess it must be a loss leader designed to get customers into the stores, which are very good.

The wheels on basic btwins suck , i bought a pair for my commuter and put the old ones back on !
