The centre section is dead flat. I find it comfortable and am happy doing 100 mile rides with no soreness.

Agreed.. the comfiest saddle I have. Brilliant for long distances.

Red bar tape would have really set the bike off IMHO .... you can't put a price on comfort ... very nice

Considered red walled tyres? I've just got a new pro4 in red and it's really bright compared to the older one I have on the rear it would match your bike well

I did consider tyres but though it would be over kill. I have shocking green walled tyres on my Merida.
Full Carbon rims are an option. Im going to use this bike for my Triathalons so I may upgrade then. Chap at the Tri club has Zipp deep section full carbon rims and they are calling me.
