i like the idea of those saddle mounted twin bottle holders. what a great idea for long summer trips !

STILL QUITE EXPENSIVE THOUGH (LOOKED ON WIGGLE AND THEY DONT INCLUDE THE ACTUAL CAGES - JUST THE CAGE HOLDERS I THINK)

DARE SAY I COULD MAKE MY OWN OUT OF OLD COAT HANGERS !

i've ordered one of these from wiggle - really like this idea, it means i can carry up to four bottles of water in total (2 on the saddle mount and my 2 frame mount holders). obviously not for sportives as its a weight issue, i'm thinking more of long leisurely trips in summer.....also i suppose there would be the option of carrying enough bottles and using any spare cages to carry extra kit - bundle a set of waterproofs in there, small flask of tea, battery pack if you have recghargeables, bag of tent pegs, couple of apples.....

in fact why dont we start a thread ...'things you can carry in a spare bottle cage'
