A very good off road one, is the giro Xen, this is very good and was normally around about £90, but as Giro are replacing it with the Xar, then the Xen could be on offer if you look around.

Having read up on this a bit now it appears that they really are all the same protection wise (which there isn't alot of) and the more you spend the better looking, lighter and 'airier' the lid. So if i'm spending £100 then i may as well get a Spech prevail or Giro Atmos as i like the look of those. Or an Athlon as it has a visor which would be handy off road.
