At our allotment we use a lawn AS weed control; it's a damn site easier than all that digging and pulling the folk on the other plots do!

...and that's a lovely looking bike, as soon as I have somewhere to store it I'll get myself a recumbent trike (I live mid-terrace so a trike won't fit up my back-passage!)

I do love the look of recumbant trikes. anyone know where i can go to test one out?
lovely machine that!

You'd have to travel a bit for a test ride. I personally took a gamble with my recumbents. The first time I rode a recumbent 2 wheeler it was on a Bacchetta Strada....10 minutes before I bought it. The first time I rode a trike, it was the Ice Trice....10 minutes before I bought it!

I live in Doncaster, possibly the furthest point in the U.K from a recumbent dealer. If anyone fancies a ride on a high racer, or a low trike, they're welcome to have a go on mine.

Show me the secret of how you managed to get another bike past the wife , mine would divorce me if i got another !

My secret? I just explain to the Missus that I save around £3,000 a year by cycling to work. Therefore, as long as I spend less then £3,000 a year on bikes, I'm not actually spending real money. I also point out that the exercise I'm getting by leaving the motorbike/car at home would cost a further £1,000 a year in gym membership/sports to get the same benefit. Plus she cant divorce me as we're not married!^_^....or should that be

Well, the rule is that the machine with the most wheels has right of way:wacko: so 2 wheelers would pull onto the grass verge to make way for me. If there was another trike coming towards me, I suspect that we'd crash head on as we would both be so inexperienced with such a scenario that we'd freeze!
