Great, sounds like a worthwhile purchase. Do they have weight restrictions?

Slick tyres offer more grip as you have more rubber on the road and i have never knwon them to have a weight restriction.
You might need to get a decent pump , i used the car foot pump on mine for a while as you can run them at 65 psi ( approx ) .
Regarding your seat height i am just checking that you had the heel on the pedal with your leg straight? so you have a bend in the knee when you put your foot on it ,htis is an excellent site ....

Your lights , if your riding on normal roads with street lights then the fronts ok but eventually i would get another light as well front and back just in case you have a failure.Dependant on your budget and how long you can wait you can get some very good lights from the DX site i got my main beam from but they take over a month to come on import .

Cyberknight, those lights you linked on, are they good for seeing (not just to be seen). I am looking for new lights for the winter, they keep switching off the street lights on parts of my commute.

The p4 torches are rated at 80 lumens each according to google with aaa batteries i believe, with 2 of them you can just about see where your going at a reasonable pace,batteries last about 2-3 hours on max so i use rechargeables .Personally if i were after a light to really see where your going i would be looking at something like a magicshine as linked previously or the new cree xml 6 which you can get for around £30.
