He certainly did. But he made an absolute pig's ear of Lost, so it could go either way... and with Disney overseeing it, I'm still a bit dubious, but I am looking forward to seeing John Boyega, whom i thought was excellent in Attack The Block
Alias was good though:becool:.

I have only just watched the trailer. I was expecting to be underwhelmed but seeing some familiar things (Falcon, X-Wings TIE Fighters) from my childhood has got me quite excited about it.

Yes and I liked Bill and Ben as a kid but then you grow out of it.

There are three Star Wars films. There have only ever been three Star Wars films and there will only ever be three Star Wars films.

I\ve only seen one Star Wars film and that was enough.
One more than me!!

It came out just after Logans Run which had the hot Jenny Agutter getting her kit off rather than pug faced Carrie Fisher with a silly haircut and not getting her kit off. So no contest really. (I was 17 then)

Logans Run was a rather clever setup on the Big Brother scenario whereas Star Wars is just a Black Hat/White Hat western.

Logan's Run was great but departed from the original book a little. It's probably fair to say it wasn't a family film either. The subsequent TV series had softer edges.

Star Wars indeed borrowed from the greats and, in doing so, became a great in itself. Go figure!

It's a pity about episodes I to III; they weren't even good enough to deserve being parodied in SpaceBalls II .

You watch Star Wars, then Empire Strikes back. You don't bother with Phantom Menace at all, then Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith and end with Return of the Jedi. That way there are no spoilers, and the initial premise of Return of the Jedi has a lot more tension to it (Has Luke followed Anakin's path after all).

It came out just after Logans Run which had the hot Jenny Agutter getting her kit off rather than pug faced Carrie Fisher with a silly haircut and not getting her kit off.

Is there any movie she didn't get her kit off in? She must have rejoiced at the invention of Velcro!
