If the fly wheel is loose and it’s like my trainer where the flywheel is held on bu a single nyloc nut then I doubt anyone will know if you put a socket to it and try tightening it.if your concerned about invalidating the warranty then count the number of turns then undo it again if you decide to return it.

I've got a Tacx Flow which made a similar noise until I used the super glue fix shown in this video:

Fast forward to about 1:40 to see the actual fix.
Seems as though the problem in my instance was the metal sleeve around the roller expanding and coming slightly loose. I only resorted to this fix as mine was out of warranty and Tacx didn't want to do anything about it.
If yours is still in warranty then I'd send it back.

Cheers guys.

Had a look online and realised that there is next to nothing on the market for under £250, so decided I’d take a closer look.

Stripped the unit down and on the surface it all looks fine. It’s an extremely basic unit and I can’t see anything wrong at all.

I did notice some creaking coming from the mounting bracket, so have nipped up the fasteners.

Will attach the bike again tomorrow. See if anything has changed!

Hiya, did your fix work?
