As boredom seems to be the main gripe regarding turbo training I decided to try something new. It took me a bit of time but I set up my laptop so it was facing me, plugged in some decent speakers and stuck on an AD/DC dvd.

What I did nearly killed me.

The idea was to go quite steady during the main parts of the songs but to give it absolutley everything during the course of each guitar solo!!

I managed 1hr 30 mins!

Anyone else tried this?

It's too boring for me and too easy to stop and get off. When you're still 10 miles from home you have to keep going so i prefer to ride outside. When I did used to turbo train I got a mixed mp3 of some dance music and mixed it to the correct tempo so my cadence matched the beats. Some dance music sounds a bit weird at 100 bpm but it was ok and kept me going.

I watch a d.v.d. film

keeps me entertained for atleast the first half normally 45- 50 minutes

I thought the turbo has recommendation to ride for a maximum of 1 hour at a time?

I think is due to pernial numbness
