Picked up a puncture last week, change the inner tube, couldn't find the offending hole/stick/glass/thorn at the time. A bit annoying as it was only my 4th or 5th decent ride on the new bike.
Had a good look in better light last night and I thought I'd found something lodged under the skin of the tyre. On closer inspection it appears to be a hole in the tyre about 1-2mm square that the inner tube is visible through, looks like a tiny indented bulge in the tyre.
Reading around people seem to say "don't worry about the hole" but never seem to take into account the size of the hole or whether the inner tube is visible.
Anyway... new tyre required?
I'm guessing yes because I tend to be overly cautious, but thought I'd get some advice before trooping off to the LBS and spending yet more money... wifey will not be pleased
