Hi every one, I've been browsing the forum a lot recently and you all seem like a friendly bunch so I thought I'd sign up and say hello.
I am 26 and although I cycled a lot as a kid, I hadn't cycled in about 10 years until a couple of weeks ago. The irony that the Olympics was turning me into an even bigger couch potato was not lost upon me so I decided to dig my old bike out of the shed and fix it up. I have been bitten by the bug very badly and have been out on it at least once a day ever since. Not huge distances so far but I am building up gradually, going a bit further each day.
My bike is just an old Raleigh mountain bike which has seen better days so I have started to look at road bikes recently. The Triban 3 seems to be hugely popular on here so I may be headed to Decathlon sometime in the near future!

The staff were very helpful when I went in yesterday but didn't have any 60cm models in stock. Fortunately a new load came in today so I've got one. I was actually looking at the Triban 5 but they only had 2 in my size in the entire country (in Glasgow) and weren't getting any more in stock until the 31st of October. These things really are selling like hot cakes.
