We thought all our cycling problems were over....

It didn't turn out that way.

Ah, that's sweet. But really, your sympathies are misplaced. I have, among other things, a Pickering XSV 3000 needle-thingie. I do things like this with it. What do you do with yours?

Nah I use a Stilton Audio modified Nagaoka body with currently a MP300 stylus with a Boron stylus tube and 'fine line' stylus. AFAIK the Pickering cartridge is more a DJ bit of kit similar to a Stanton.
What do I do with it, I listen to my eclectic and extensive LP collection.

Hey! Me too!

My needle thingy doesn't have nearly as many syllables as yours, but the folk over at vinylengine don't seem to feel that holds it back too much:

...and much more besides.

Oh, my one comes complete with the original Stereohedron stylus, in immaculate nick, FWIW. That's quite a lot of syllables. Immaculate condition, sorry.

Jean-François Bernard. Looking back he was a great rider but at the time a huge let down for the French who made their feelings known and went off looking elsewhere for the next French Tour winner....still looking.
