What do we know about Nigel Dean bikes? This one is for sale near me and I could be tempted.

@Dirk that looks good and yes I have had one and they ride nice and are normally nicely specced .

Check that seat post is free as it looks well down in the frame .

I see a fair few Nigel Deans in Norwich, used as everyday commuter bikes. Nicely made road and touring bikes as good as any must-have brand but the label is not a big draw.

More likely a eight speed. Late nineties? If the seat post moves get it bought, for that price its a bargain.

The 531c racer was a good frame in the late 1980's. I think they were built in the North East, Newcastle maybe?
