Found on Amazon: "White Lycra Man" by Billy McCourt (non-fiction);
The author is a bit of an outdoors type; jogging for fun, running marathons for fun, hill walking, cycling and so on; the book tells the story of a very extraordinary, ordinary bloke; it's raw, it's not a literary classic, but it is tremendously non-PC and a very easy, amusing read. Only available in electronic format at the moment I think.
