I'm sure we all must get moments where you are all ready to go, looking forwards to going for a ride when you suddenly realise something that means you can't ride after all and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.
I had one on Friday. Got a puncture on the way in. Ready to leave, am in a bit of a hurry, then suddenly remember the puncture that I meant to fix at lunchtime. Then I realise I haven't got a spare tube at work so I can't fix it quick enough and have to leave.
Then today I thought well I can fix it now, and I've brought in a spare tube just in case! And I fix it. Hooray, now I can ride home. Then I remember that I went home wearing my cleated shoes and my jacket on Friday and I didn't bring them in today. And I tried riding on my Crank Bros pedals once without cleated shoes and it was a horrific experience. And now it's raining.
And I got my new Buff in the post today and everything! Bah.
