Well I did it, my first ever commute this morning. Really enjoyed it and wasn't half as busy as I suspected it might be. Managed to get lost trying to take a short cut. Had to ask a bloke walking his dog which way to go . Can't wait for 4 pm until it's time to get back on the bike again.

Made it home in one piece. Was very windy though. Have discovered a couple of pairs of swans that live on some ponds as I cross the Tees. Would never have seen them in the car.

I do fancy one of those helmet cameras.
