No room for lights

Bought a used Boardman CX Team and have been putting in decent miles (for me) but mostly up and down Rochdale canal towpaths in day. Going to hit roads a bit more maybe at darker times but any lights I've bought and tried never fit anywhere, is the a certain type of light for bikes these days with so little room for any mods or do I need to do some mad handlebar change etc...?

There is always a way. There is a T-bar thing you can buy to give more options, but it didn't work for me with a handlebar bag.

Handlebar extenders are your friend.

All sorts out there to suit all needs. I've a large (double) one for the hybrid as not much real estate on the bars, so I can fit two lights and a bell. You can get them in different colours as well if you fancy colour matching to your bike. I have a red one...

I had a CX Team 2014 with cross levers (as I do on all my bikes).
I use moon lights with the rubber bracket, fit perfectly
