I think 10:30pm is reasonable. There is a Noise Act to control noise between the hours of 11pm - 7am. If my neighbours only made noise until then I'd be in heaven.
If you could change it to Saturday that would be better at keeping the peace, otherwise carry on as is and keep the noise down (music low or off for example) if you can after a certain time just to be polite.
