noise in the wheel rim

Noticed a funny light rattling noise inside front wheel rim, in the aero part of the Roval pave SL. Only happened at slow speed.
Off with the tyre and much rattling around with the wheel got the 'object' just above the tube hole and managed to push it out.
Turns out to be a half centimeter 'drinking straw' thing, with some soft fibre in it ! no idea what the heck that is but the wheel has stopped rattling.
Might save someone else from the head scratching I had

Got exactly the same thing on my Fulcrum rims, don't know what it is though and never really bothered to investigate, let me know if you find anything in there

I wondered what that was! Not that I care much now, I've sold the bike .
