I need a new tight Lycra cycling top but I can't seem to find any that won't make me look like a sponsor has thrown up on me.

I'd be happy in black but my wife wants me to get a cheerful colour that will make all >6ft of me more visible.

So any pointers? My current top is Nike 'combat' and I love it but it was bought in happier times financially speaking.

P.s I already have some cycle chat bib shorts on order

Spot on. My nearest Decathlon is 70miles away but I can see a trip in the near future.

Indeed - much better than Endura in my experience (although I am sure others will disagree)

How's your sense of humour?

Try "Foska"

Or alternatively Primal Wear do lots of interesting stuff

Wow! Well out of my budget but very cool indeed!

Sadly I look for like a slightly obese puppeteer, a bit like the fingerbobs fella.

if you are slightly obese, then avoid black. It shows the bulges. You're better off with a prominent horizontal chest band with a mid colour around your tummy. Go for a 'knit' rather than a smooth material.
