Noobie event question

I'm taking part next month in the Suffolk Coast sponsored bike ride. I've never entered any kind of sporting or organised event before, so please bear with my rather lame question, which is: "How do you stick your entrant number on your shirt?".

I've been sent one which is just printed on a piece of thin paper and I can't wondering how this is going to stay on with just safety pins or whatever over 60 miles without tearing and fluttering away!

You'd be surprised that a safety pin in each corner will allow it to stay in position....

Don't worry about noobie Q's...we've all gotta learn!!

In each corner will work fine, I did a triathlon with a friend a couple of years ago and only noticed afterwards that he'd done the swimming leg with his number pinned to his kit .
