I really love that - as a piece of clothing, as a design, as style. However, the price is utterly insane. Not just unreasonable. Stupid. I suppose however that for the kinds of people it is aimed at, this is probably the kind of small change they would find down the back of their sofa...

My thoughts entirely. I looked at the jacket and i honestly thought that it was a nice jacket. I know how expensive Rapha stuff is so I thought, "Let's see, for a jacket like that, ooooo £250, £300 tops"

But £450? Luckily for Rapha, there is one born every minute.

I do like the look of it, though, especially the off-centre front zip which is nice and retro. If it were in my price range I'd get it.

there's lots of people out there for whom £450 isn't that much for a jacket. They tend not to be cyclists though.

Have a look at the clothes in the Guardian w/e magazine and the prices of jackets and blouses can easily exceed that figure. They can feature dresses costing £2,000. No wonder people despise champagne socialists.
