Saw this parked outside Gunnersbury Station (west London) last week

Either the rider's very tall or carries a step ladder around with them. Not sure what they do when they need to stop at traffic lights.

At least they shouldn't get SMIDSYed

Hi Luke - nice snaps! I saw a similar thing and posted the pic in here - perhaps a year or two ago...probably been eaten by the mice now, but I think these are the things upon which they are based.
Makes you look twice though!

I saw that bike being ridden - bloke in his 20s was cycling north over Waterloo Bridge - a few weeks back.

Looked scary - I mean, how do you stop quickly in London traffic? It's not as if you can put your foot down when required.

You jump off backwards, just like a penny farthing.

At lights, if possible, you just lean against the street furniture.

It says something about the people I hang out with that I regard it as a fairly ordinary sort of thing, and relatively easy to do (although I can't, I know people who make it all look very easy;)).

Of course you can... those cager roofs are just the right height for such a thing. ;)
