You only saw a bit of it.

Check some of the cycling vids on my channel and you will see what I put up with. There all shot within a 5 mile radius of my digs. I have plenty more on the HD.
The most common I see is passing at speed to close and overtaking into blind bends at speed.

What was that driver doing? Stopped dead then sped up to cut you off, deliberate?

Ive got one. They are really about 1500. Low is still 1 full power LED. Bit much.

With the state of the roads around here mate you need as much light as you can get.
That said, I do tend to try and be as considerate as possible and preposition the lights as I go.

Good job my commute is mostly rural, because I'd be out of breath laughing at all those 'important' car drivers if I were to commute in town.

You would die laughing in London

Personally I would have guided the taxi through that gap. But each to their own. Let them get out of their own mess.
I would have just cycled past all the stationary traffic pointing at my bike with a big grin on my face. Yes it would get me beat up, but its funny to see the frustration on peoples faces.

Even though I have a car now, it is easily narrow enough to get through small gaps, and park in the smallest of spaces. I dont understand why people need such a big car for one person.
If they made cars for one person (like some of the recent concepts Japan is making) then the roads would be much easier to negotiate.
