Hmm..that's got me thinking along the lines of a bath caddy, but bigger with wheel supports for the bike...
Could be do-able

I have cobbled together "prototypes" for this out of cardboard. Would love to see something in moulded plastic. Like a baby bath but appropriately sized and shaped. Let us know if you do it!Hmm..that's got me thinking along the lines of a bath caddy, but bigger with wheel supports for the bike...

Haha, I've never thought of myself as "careful"! I started doing this with my first bike (Brompton) which was dead easy, and just carried on with the full size bikes too. Never had a problem, touch wood - now I've probably jinxed myself!Ah, I'd be concerned about bits that stick out, like pedals and stuff, scratching the bath, but kudos if you can be more careful than I would probably be.
When you get around to it plumb in a hot tap too, then with a Y peice of hose you can wash with warm water for better results on cars, bikes, persons and dogs.
Its optional, but we all know a clean bike can boost your average speed by 32mph.You're supposed to clean them?!![]()

We have a wet room here, but I used to lob the bike in the bath, in our old placeIndeed, delete the word "room" and you've got my method.
Totally! And if you're the one doing the cleaning up afterwards, it's none of his business anyway! We have a wet room here, but I used to lob the bike in the bath, in our old place. First time I did it, Hubs looked at me in horror and I just said "What"!
As I pay half the rent, half the council tax and half the bills (and before that, half the mortgage) I am entitled to use whatever room I blimmin' well like. If I want to clean my bike in the bathroom that I pay for, I can. I've had a couple of boyfriends (before Hubster) that were horrified. I honestly can't see what the big deal is. It's a room that is designed to get people and stuff clean, with lovely and easy to clean surfaces.
They've never been blocked, so I guess the answer is 'no'. Unusually, especially for an 80+ year old building, in the 16 years I've owned this flat, I've not had any blockages or even "slow flows". (I can't speak for Grace during her 4 years here, though.) I do put limescale and degreaser treatments down the pipes from time to time.Do you unblock the u-bend and the drains as well?
Lucky! I was thinking of the cementlike stuff that filled my mudguards.![]()
