Numb bum!

I recently bought a Specialized Avatar saddle after having a BG fit in my LBS.

This saddle has completely cured my aches and pains from riding.

The saddle has a cut out in the middle, yet my taint (sorry, not sure how else to describe that area!) and surrounding area goes numb and is really cold compared to the rest of my body - it feels like I've got an ice cube between my legs!

Anyone know what could be causing this? My old Boardman saddle was murder yet I had no numbness on that.

Buy a Charge Spoon. If you don't like the Spoon, so many people do like it that you'll have no trouble re-selling it.

Saddles are very individual, I have the same one and no issues really have you tried maybe moving it slightly fore/aft might help, cant do no harm.

I used to have a Charge Spoon back in the day, but I never really broke my backside in enough to see whether I really liked it or not.

Will give it a go, can't really lose for the price.

I have a prologo saddle with the cut out, and i can say biffer ridge does not get colder than veg and meat.

try sticking a bit of foam in the cut out to see if its wind chill effect.

Just try moving it slightly, i use a specialized toupe, have a Charge Spoon on the commuter but i would not want to ride it any more than 10 miles.
