I often get that dreaded feeling after about 15-20 miles and was wondering what could be done to alleviate it, i already stand up out of the saddle every now and then to take the pressure off.

Would saddle adjustment help cos other than this problem i feel well connected to it,

or a saddle with cutout....

what worked for you?

I used to get numb nuts with my old saddle. It wasn't particularly padded - a Tiagra saddle off my old MTB. But there was some sponginess there. Great up to around 40km, then it started to be an issue. Now I've switched to a Spa saddle - like a Brooks but hard as wood - and no numbness. No padding at all. Just a little bit of give where my sit bones sit.

A saddle with a cut-out works. However I have also found that dropping the nose of the saddle or slightly altering fore/aft position slightly can also deliver big improvements. Take an Allen Key out in your jersey pocket and just try out different tiny adjustments until you find the right balance point. Nobody wants numb nuts.

Surgical removal. A pleasant side effect is the money making opportunities that an eunuch can exploit.

Like what? (Not that I qualify or anything)

I would go as far as to say stop riding until you have sorted it out. Regular turbo sessions over a winter on a bike with a slightly too long stem caused numbness like you're describing. Cue a summer of worry and hospital tests. You can do lasting damage to the blood vessels in the area. Believe me, you don't want that!
