Numpty needs help.

We are going to get a mate in to look at the computer.
We have two bars one is HP (C) 6.12 GB free of 451gb,This red bar is nearly full.
We have deleted so much stuff as in photos and downloaded songs,but we keep losing space.
Then we have a blue bar Factory Image (d) 1.94 gb free of 14.1 gb.

How can we get the space back if that makes sense to you computer boffins.We have even tried to block cookies.
Any help will be accepted,thank you.

You have emptied the recycle bin haven't you ?
Download ccleaner free and run the cleaner and registry scans to clean out junk.
Don't let the harddrive get more than 70% full as should the harddrive fill up then the
PC won't boot as it requires space to create temporary work files every time it boots.

You've probably just moved them from the folder they were in to the Recycle bin so no space is saved and maybe a little more used up. Try either emptying the Recycle folder or delete them permanently straight off with Shft+Del.

There are no issues relating to windows loading & the HDD being over 70% full.

Empty the recycle bin & leave the rest for your mate to look at. Don't do anything you're not comfortable with as it will end in tears!

The factory image on D is just to restore your computer should anything go wrong. It lets you do the equivalent of a factory reset. Personally I'd wipe this partition with a format but you may feel that's too much of a risk as it's your safety net if anything goes catastrophically wrong.

Is the 440Gb actually stuff you need (music, photos etc)? If it is I would suggest buying an external drive. This isn't a recommendation (other than for Dabs as a place to buy), just an example to give you an idea of cost. All your photos etc could be moved on it, buy two and you could run a backup on one of them too.
