Trying to transfer the family videos to dvd before they deteriorate, and have hit a wee problem.
The dvd recorder has one scart going to our Sky box and one going to the video player. The video player has two scart sockets. It doesn't seem to matter which of the video player's scart sockets I plug the dvd recorder into, the picture is great but the sound level is quite low - audible, but have to turn the tv up to 30+ on the scale whereas normally anything above 15 is too loud.
With the video player connected directly to the tv, the sound level is fine.
What am I doing wrong?
