MBIFO a bit of an obstruction for my Brommie on the River Derwent in Bamford..
Totally rideable, obviously, but as it's a footpath, It's not allowed 😇

Track was already too slippery for road tyres so I turned face at the sight of them thar steps

A pointless barrier, as most local cyclists whizz through between the post and the ivy covered tree on the left.

Brompton behind a barrier on the Montgomery Canal. The towpath seems to have become a footpath with no alternative routes signposted for cyclists with a series of these barriers with stiles before a practical turn off appeared. This is a part of the canal which has been dry for nearly a century. The dry canal bed is under the shrubbery on the left.
