Brompton behind a barrier on the Montgomery Canal. The towpath seems to have become a footpath with no alternative routes signposted for cyclists with a series of these barriers with stiles before a practical turn off appeared. This is a part of the canal which has been dry for nearly a century. The dry canal bed is under the shrubbery on the left.
