There's S/S spokes and shiny chrome nipples in there somewhere! I had to go and wash my hands after taking these pictures.

Just spent a happy 10 minutes carefully trimming the 'hairs' off the new tyres I've fitted to the road bike...

I can confirm that the valve is positioned between the f's of Zaffiro

I don't bother trimming mine off as I find with my extreme mileage they don't last long anyway, I suppose I can see why you feel the need to

It's not so much the weight (although every little helps ) but the drag that concerns me most. Each one of those hairs is like a tiny arm stuck out into the wind trying to slow us down.........

Besides, if they had been on the tread I wouldn't have bothered but these were on the sidewalls and there was no way they were ever going to get rubbed off.

One of our detention officers insist that stack of interview tapes on the counter should all be lined up with the label facing the same way. I saw him rearranging them three times the other day and couldn't work out why he had to keep doing it. Until I spotted one of his colleagues flipping over a couple when he wasn't looking.
