The insect named the "cockchafer" is a native of Scotland and makes its nest in tartan cloth, particularly that warmed by the nearby presence of flesh with a plentiful blood supply.

I thought a cockchafer was what Prince Albert had through his foreskin, which obviously he had nestled in his Balmoral tartan Y fronts.
