    Hi,

Next year I will be cycling across Vietnam to raise money for charity. I am just about to start training although I live in London, haven't ridden a bike in a year and am very apprehensive about riding on the London roads.

Does anyone know any off road routes in London, or have any tips for me about cycling in London? I would really appreciate any advice.

    Thank You

Welcome to the club Donna. Wimbledon common is nice and quiet, Epping Forest has some great off road for you.The canals, Grand Union and Lee Valley are all quiet although caution is needed in some areas. Also have a look at shecycles.com the girls over there may sort you out.

  5. You could try riding around Acton and Wembley, you might as well be off road!!!!!!!

    Great!

Thank you - so many suggestions.

By Off Road - I mean as far away from traffic as possible  I live out East - Epping forest sounds like a good one to try.

Need to find some nice routes as at the moment I am getting up early and going for a bike ride when the traffic is quiet.

    Thanks all for you help!
